Actually me and my group recently volunteered to elect a local Democratic county commissioner who won! Very rewarding!

Voting for every level is so very important! As you have said multiple times Arielle. It’s one of the reasons I love how VA does their ballots. Local, state, and federal can and do get put together on Election Day (which is usually always November for everything) so no special date or needing to take time off to vote again.

All these wins are wonderful to see! Especially the NPR and the SC refusing to vote.

Dan Rather just summed up the dire picture of our current state,

“ First, Trump has a clear agenda. It is about garnering power. And with the absolute power granted to him by a pliant Supreme Court and a subservient Congress, he is, in his mind anyway, King of America. But power alone is not the endgame. He is using his power to amass enormous personal wealth and enact revenge.”

Some of us can see this, yet just under 50% still approve of his reign, It is terrifying,

I really appreciate your post pointing out wins from those fighting this tyranny. Thank you.

Tyranny can never be appeased, It never works,

Tyranny only wins when we submit,

Solidarity is how we win,

Indeed, a big thank you to NPR and the rest for stepping up to the plate. And I love it. OPB was right on top of things, there our local Station. I’m actually in Southern Washington but in the Columbia Gorge, you do a lot of cross the border activities.
