As usual, it’s very late and I don’t have something quippy, sorry about that, maybe tomorrow I’ll actually finish earlier, not likely, but I can dream.
I love your writing. I particularly enjoy reading about legislators who are taking an active role in organizing resistance. I would like to learn more about how I can participate in the resistance. I just joined Senator Murphy’s group.
Is there a similar group in the House? I am impressed with Congressman Raskin’s actions and I would like to know how I can try to influence voters outside of my Congressional District. I regularly write to my Federal legislators here in Nevada, but it seems like I am preaching to the Democrats in this choir.
I plan to subscribe to your forum shortly. Please continue your fantastic work!
Re: ACB: Maybe being in the company of the smart, accomplished, thoughtful, ETHICAL female jurists --one African American, one Jewish and one Latina--who are dedicated to the Constitution and the rule of law--is rubbing off on her. Maybe she's had enough of being "holed" up with the lawless, bought-and- paid- for misogynists on the other side.
I hope so! Even "trad" women don't want to live in a world where they are mistreated. Let's hope that more and more of the three other female Justices awesomeness rubs off more on her.
