It is currently the two-day Jewish holiday of Shavuot (it starts at sundown) and instead of celebrating we have to fear for our lives going to any event that is dubbed Jewish.
Where is Trump decrying this terrorist act like he's going after colleges and "antisemitism" - seems like he only cares when he can throw a temper tantrum?
What makes me the most sick about what happened in Boulder is the reactions. People saying it’s a distraction, that the peaceful protestors deserved it, when less than two weeks ago a couple was shot at a Jewish event that was working to build bridges and get aid to Gazans.
I’m glad there was good news out of yesterday (especially with Ukraine hitting Russia and crippling 1/3rd of their military) because we need the light during the darkness.
I am especially grateful for the change of heart from the parent for her child. That gives me hope that kindness, sanity and love will win. May that come soon.
