I heard a good podcast from Lincoln Square. Someone estimated 3 million people have participated in Hands Off demonstrations. A tipping point to change a government is 12 million people taking to the streets. If each person who attended a demonstration brought one extra person, we're up to 6 million. Do it again, and you up to 12 million. That's doable if we tap into the 52% of all Americans who think Trump is a dangerous dictator who must be stopped.

About 120 people gathered in Oneonta, NY (Otsego County), a town of just over 15,000 people. Organized by Cooperstown/Oneonta Indivisibles. Walked about a mile, with some interaction on Main Street - honking & waving from cars and a couple shout outs from dtRUMP supporters.

We had around 600 people in Lebanon, NH. In addition to the usual older white folks, I was pleased to see a few younger people and some families. I also liked that, for this rally, they included tables for veterans, the autism community, refugees, and Indivisible to get people to sign up to get more involved. In a brilliant stroke of marketing, Indivisible had a bubble machine and handed out small flags for the kids. More of this, please!

In Portland, Maine yesterday union and labor groups organized what amounted to four rallies and a march! We started at the University of Southern Maine, walked up a major street to the city's biggest post office, made our way to one of our public high schools, walked up to the library, then down another major street to Congress Square. There were speakers at every stop, a marching band, and many generations of people showed up. I'm impressed at how smoothly everything went!

I attended in Durango, Colorado. The event was run by lawyers and centered on protecting institutions and the Constitution. Very well done! Please have a look at this new guide for civil society field hearings... you will like it: https://constitutionaldefense.us/

I have zero pictures because I don’t take pictures of people at protests, but Salem Oregon showed up in solidarity, specifically, with our immigrant community.
