Three Wins Today March 6, 2025
Today sucked for a whole slew of reasons, mostly, because people decided to focus on the negatives more than usual today and make everyone else feel intense anger and panic.
So let’s focus on some wins, shall we?
MoveOn did a phone bank today, but not for voting and not for fundraising. No, this phonebank was about getting people, specifically Dems, in red districts to call their elected officials! And it worked! Over the course of the phonebank over 1500 people were transferred to their electeds!
Obama appointee Judge Beryl Howell has ruled that National Labor Relations Board former chair, Gwynne Wilcox MUST be reinstated and her firing was entirely illegal:
An American President is not a king – not even an ‘elected’ one – and his power to remove federal officers and honest civil servants like plaintiff is not absolute, but may be constrained in appropriate circumstances, as are present here…[Wilcox] shall continue to serve as a member of the NLRB until her term expires … unless she is earlier removed ‘upon notice and hearing, for neglect of duty or malfeasance in office
Well then.
Europe’s Ariane 6, their new rocket, just launched their first commercial mission and placed a French satellite into orbit.
The success means that Europe can now independently put large satellites into orbit for the first time since Russia pulled its heavy Soyuz rockets after invading Ukraine in 2022.
Meanwhile, another SpaceX rocket exploded.
And if you don’t watch or read France 24, you should be.
So I hope these wins help counter balance today’s charged energy.

For the last eight years, I’ve spent alot of time posting about what Dems are doing and have accomplished amid the naysayers and armchair critics in my circles (many of whom are devoted NYT readers who pride themselves in being informed). It’s hard work and often annoying. (I had one such conversation with two coworkers today who complained about Dems with sweeping statements on messaging and weakness that made clear they rely on vibes and MSM to inform their opinions.) So I’m so grateful for your work bc I just literally tell everyone - including in some of the big political groups on FB - to subscribe to you if they want to know what Dems are doing. So thank you - please don’t stop!
