AOC and Bernie expected 3000 at a rally in a red Colorado district. 11,000 people showed up. In Denver, they expected 25,000 - 34,000 people showed up. In Arizona - 24,000.

If only they weren’t getting all the credit. I’m getting really tired of people thinking no one else is doin anything. I also really wish they invited the local dems, but I haven’t heard anything about that.

Yesterday a Montpelier, VT resident posted the event on our Front Porch Forum, "Honk if You Love Canada". A few days later, about one hundred people - including this Montrealer - showed up with Canadian flags and a Québecois tuque and lots of red clothing to answer the call. Lots of honking was heard at the corner of Main and State Street in this country's smallest capital.

Rep. Jamie Raskin (MD-08) came to MD-01, the only red district in Maryland, today after repeated requests to our own representative have failed. Andy Harris has not held an in-person town hall here since 2017. It was organized by Cambridge Indivisible and Eastern Shore Indivisible. We were at capacity for the event with 800 constituents showing up!

Yeah Jamie has been around the whole country. He’s even joined some dems in their town halls

Ariella, you must also include the Detroit/Windsor protest...it was very uplifting to see our friends and neighbors on the Windsor side of the river...and ,the AOC/Bernie crowds are becoming humongous, a force of nature !!!

There were two dueling Tillis stories in Raleigh Friday. A protest of the highest end NC Reps that attended a country club event. And then the Tillisless open seat town hall (I attended). NC Newsline nails the story with perfect accuracy:

Depends on what form KOSA is introduced in. It was changed a lot since it was first introduced. The more it’s changed the better it gets.

I focus on the positive, I’m sure there are people posting all about this, but also not everything you find actually has legs. Talk to your local indivisible group, see what they say

It’s being introduced next week, that’s not the vote.

Yes….there’s also a chance they won’t even get out of committee. See KOSA being introduced year after year and never going anywhere
