it makes sense but the downsides of it are a sort of ever more restrictive spiral thinking leading to - and this is tragic - an identity constrained by the prevailing moral and identitarian winds of the day.
Purim's secret is that what you just let go you are ABOVE the turmoil and look down on all of it and laugh.
I only came across this page because you referenced Purim so I'm guesstimating based on limited information. If you actually work in government or are active in an area that interacts with government it makes sense to be so caught up in the minutiae. It ain't minutiae if it's the room you happen to be in!
My own piece on Purim is so wildly out there that I can't promise that it's the tonic you need, but it just might be.
The top video was made long before Elon's salute and bears no reference to it but the bottom video, where I'm in Cairo on a pink shirt trying to deliver mishloach manos to the Israeli Ambassador is one I hope you'll find inspiring.
So long as I'm shadowbanned I can't do much but prep for gulag, but if the world had a chance to see how delicate and dumb the few thousand "Deciders" of planet Earth actually are, we wouldn't fear them and we can engage in honest, sincere, friendly, optimistic, and fun conversations and challenges to make the whole wide world better for us all.
But the first step is to break free from believing that The System, and knowledge of it or concern for its niceties, have their own gravitas. Their gravitas comes from the attention we give it.
Enough of us can overthrow the whole darn thing via the silence treatment alone.
We got to do our thing.
