thank you to everyone posting wins! i didn’t have anything else to add, but wanted to say i appreciate what you do so much and am glad that you are taking time to take care of yourself. i have POTS too. i hope you’re feeling much better today.
I’ve been reading about a lot of large Tesla protests. They are growing and seem to be doing damage to musk. I also read that Warren Buffets son donated $520 million to Ukraine.
Ma. Congressperson and Minority Whip Katherine Clark, together with MA AG Andrea Campbell, held a great Town Hall at a middle school in Waltham, Ma. About 500 people attended, many of them in an overflow area in the school cafeteria. Lots of useful information, plenty of passion for fighting for our people and our democracy.
That’s especially good to hear since her and Ted Lieu (and Pete Aguilar) have the most power in the caucus other than Jeffries and both Clark and Lieu were really out on the front lines today
Senator VanHollen was out speaking in defense of NOAA and generally about the services the federal workforce provides to the American people. Many don’t realize the work they do because the services are there without interruption. But take them away and we all will notice. This is a short clip.
Minority House leader Hakeem Jeffries issued a Dear Colleague letter that threw a gauntlet down on the continuing resolution that the GOP-led Congress must pass next week to keep the government open:
“Republicans have decided to introduce a partisan continuing resolution that threatens to cut funding for healthcare, nutritional assistance and veterans benefits through the end of the current fiscal year. That is not acceptable.
“House Democrats would enthusiastically support a bill that protects Social Security, Medicare, veterans health and Medicaid, but Republicans have chosen to put them on the chopping block to pay for billionaire tax cuts.
“We cannot back a measure that rips away life-sustaining healthcare and retirement benefits from everyday Americans as part of the Republican scheme to pay for massive tax cuts for their wealthy donors like Elon Musk. Medicaid is our redline.”
Let the GOP try to pass this on their own. They must own whatever debacle results, either from its failure to pass or if they somehow ram it through.
Senator Elizabeth Warren speaks to a large crowd at the Rally For Democracy on the South Steps of the Texas State Capitol Building in Austin, March 8, 2025. Warren was joined by other democrats at the rally including Texas representatives Greg Casar and Lloyd Doggett.

I am having a much better day! I haven’t had too many flair ups recently, so that’s certainly a win

In Toulouse France, maybe 10 Teslas were torched completely… Nobody hurt ..the building fine… sometimes you gotta love the French
First, thank you for all you do and sorry today is a tough day. Sending the very best to you.
Some wins I saw today:
- Largest 🇺🇦 flag unfurled near the White House.
- Rep. Mike Levin did a great video on Trump’s Social Security BS.
- Saw a great letter from Rep. Lloyd Doggett to a constituent.
- I see people pushing back on Swing district House Republicans on FB in the comments.
I hope you feel better soon. What a wonderful idea to open the discussion to those who had encouraging moments to share. 💕
I so appreciate your posts. Thank you. hope you feel better soon.
These are all great events. I love seeing a big batch of these actions; it gives me hope.
Ariella, I hope you feel better soon. Thanks for all you do for us every day.

Van Hollen is amazing. I genuinely haven’t seen a single protest n DC that he hasn’t been at.
He was at the Stand up for Science the day before at the Lincoln Memorial. I live in MD, and I’m definitely happy with how much he’s been out front.

oh that’s fantastic! glad to see him taking a stronger stance!

I love Eric Swalwell. His irreverence makes me laugh. Today he posted:
