Hello, I’m exhausted and you’ll find out why in a minute, but I really hope this helps make it easier for you to amplify electeds who are doing the work, because that is the point of the series after all!

Rep (CA-49)
Joined me on an IG LIVE today! We talked about so many things from the big bad billionaire bill to his background in environmental law and his passion for getting stock trading out of Congress and so much more.
I feel so honored to have had this conversation and I hope you check it out, if you do, I promise you’ll learn something, I certainly did!

Rep Greg Landsman (OH-01)
Posted a great thread from a virtual press conference that he had with several of his federal worker constituents, telling their horrendous stories. They are from all different corners of the government and they no longer have jobs….maybe
Rep Morgan McGarvey (KY-03)
Discusses a part of the big bad billionaire bill that you might not know about, the part that will make it harder for courts to hold the administration accountable.
Rep Glenn Ivey (MD-04)
Is headed to El Salvador. Kilmar Abrego Garcia is his constituent, but he’s also going there with the goal of talking to other abductees as well.
In his interview with the Hill, he spoke about why Bukele isn’t just making a mistake for the sake of human rights but also for his own bottom line:
These issues are going to undermine that, because it’s starting to make them look like a gulag instead of a surf destination. And I think Bukele, like, cares a lot about that, because it’s a big opportunity for him to try and build out another piece of a new economy for El Salvador, so I think he’s got a lot to lose
Looking forward to learning more, and hopefully he is successful. At the very least he is continuing to shine a light on this human rights abuse and catastrophe.
Sen Amy Klobuchar (MN)
Sen Jeane Shaheen (NH), Sen Tim Kaine (VA), Sen Peter Welch (VT) and Republican Sen Kevin Kramer (ND) met with Canadian Prime Minister, Mark Carney to discuss the relationship between Canada and the US given how DT is treating Canada like our enemy.
This wouldn’t typically be a trip of note, but with DT vilifying our closest ally in the way he is, it’s noteworthy.

Sen Jeff Merkley (OR)
Was on MSNBC’s The Last Word last night and he spoke a lot about what the next steps are with the BBB in the Senate and how he’s fighting back and going to continue fighting back.
(don’t be fooled by the single quote they pulled out for the post.)
You can listen to the audio of the interview below

And finally…
Ken Martin (DNC Chair)
Was on MSNBC’s The Weeknight where he basically said everything you wanna hear even talking about getting younger people in office and his thoughts on the BBB.
If we’re not willing to fight like hell right now, do we really believe in the things we say as Democrats? - Ken

And that’s all she wrote. Remember, tomorrow is my day off, so I can’t wait to see what stories you find!
If you made it to the end of this post comment with 😶🌫️ (the hidden emoji guy) because the Republicans are trying to keep contents of the bill secret, but our Democrats are making sure that doesn’t happen
And if you watched at least one of the videos (my LIVE maybe?) comment with 💵 (bill) cause it fits in both ways the bill itself, and who the bill is for.
Our voices are our superpower, but only when we use them!
😶🌫️ im so glad Kilmar is still on people’s minds.
And here's a piece of GOOD NEWS... Surely took Dems doing the work to get this over the line. Ohio Bill 15 cut off taxpayer subsidies to coal plants! BIPARTISAN IN A RED STATE. https://www.facebook.com/share/v/1GArixMa22/
