There were a lot of major wins today, but I wanted to bring your attention to three you probably haven’t heard about, well, one you probably have but not in this detail.
So you probably heard that James Malone won the PA Senate Seat for District 36, but you might not know that the last time it went blue was in 1889. The most incredible part of his win though, he didn’t go to the center.
did a fantastic breakdown as to why and how he won.
My additional theory? With Ken Martin in charge of the DNC, suddenly, no race is being ignored. I mean Rep Chris DeLuzio (PA-17) showed up to help him campaign. I don’t think that happened in a district this red before Ken.
On Monday, there were school board races in Ludlow, MA, did I know that? No, no I did not. Just goes to show that my election guide is not and cannot be complete.
Anyway, two MAGA candidates ran, with the help and support from the state GOP party. From what I understand that doesn’t really happen in MA. The Dem and GOP state parties stay out of nonpartisan races, but not this time.
And guess what, it didn’t help at all, and they lost. Or, alternatively, it did help and they would have lost by even more had the state party not stepped in.
North Adams, MA’s City Council voted 6-3 to become an LGBTQIA+ sanctuary city. They follow closely behind Boston, which became a sanctuary city two weeks ago.

Your vote is your voice and that voice is your superpower, but only when you use it!
Great news! Can’t wait to hear about Wisconsin… slowly ever so slowly and methodically we can do this!!!
Holy crap, two of the wins from right here in Western MA! I love it. Just FYI, not all of MA is a blue haven. Things get red in some rural areas, so this was all great to read. Thank you as always for all the work you do sharing these!
