Three Wins Today, March 24, 2025

I’m so sorry this is getting up so late, Threads completely glitched out on me and deleted an hour of work. So I had to rewrite the entire thing as a note.

Anyway, here are today’s wins!

1. George H. W. Bush appointee, Judge Lee Rosenthal has ruled that Texas A&M violated the first amendment by canceling the student-run annual drag show “Draggieland.” She said it must be uncancled and go ahead as planned on March 27.

2. SCOTUS refused to hear a case from a billionaire attempting to overturn the 1964 case New York Times v Sullivan, which protects the press from libel lawsuits.

3. Jeff Goldberg, the writer for The Atlantic who was added to that group chat, deserves all our respect, and thanks for caring more about our national security than anyone else in that group chat. I shutter to think what could have happened had someone else been invited instead. He showed true journalistic integrity.
