I think I need a daily reminder that most of the people bashing Dems are probably bots. It’s so easy to freeze and think my work doesn’t matter when all I see is that. But I know that’s not true, I promise, I just forget sometimes.
Anyway, the wins!
A three judge panel in Ohio ruled that the gender affirming care ban is unconstitutional. They argued that since no one is trying to get rid of the drugs for other purposes, they can’t be banned in one single case.
The concurring opinion ends with:
I would conclude the General Assembly’s H.B. 68 prescription ban is an unreasonable exercise of the police power as to parent-appellants because it interferes with parent-appellants’ right…to purchase physician-prescribed puberty-blocking and cross-sex hormone drugs for the purpose of assisting with gender transition “beyond the necessities of the situation” and is not impartial.
Raging Grannies are a glorious activist group from all over the world. Their Piedmont, NC chapter performed at the Thom Tillis Empty Chair Town Hall yesterday, and this truly is one of the greatest things I saw today.
They wrote an anti-Tillis song to the tune of “Oh When the Saints Go Marching In.”
I don’t normally trust the DT admin with anything, but, since this was reported in a new court filing, it probably is true. According to the filing, nearly 25,000 fired federal workers have now been reinstated.
First off, this is because of us and our elected Dems making a lot of noise. This is our power, so never ever forget that.
Second, I hope this happens more and more and someday soon, all federal workers are reinstated. Hey, there is power in positive thinking.
This means they are still listening to court orders, at least, some, and yes, that is a win.
I hope these wins made your day better, especially learning about the Raging Grannies!
Our voices are our superpower, but only when we use them!
Yay for reinstatements!
Love the Raging Grannies!
