I was so close to getting this done early, but it just didn’t happen, oh well, we’ll try again tomorrow.
Also, I just want to make you aware of a new thing I’m doing on Threads. Every day I will have a Thread of all the photos and videos from protests that day, so if you have Threads, it’s something worth checking out and will be a super important source of wins.
Anywho, let’s get to today!
Three Wins Today (Feb 22, 2025)
Ryan Zinke’s constituents held an empty chair town hall in the parking lot where his Bozeman MT office should have been, but wasn’t. Either he lied about it’s location on his website. or he doesn’t have one at all.
DT restored funding for the World Trade Center Healthcare Program after intense backlash from the left and the right. Below is GOP Rep from NY-11, who clearly spoke out. It is also worth noting that the comments under her post are all scathing towards her, so Twitter isn’t a complete wasteland.
You of course saw Maine Governor Janet Mills respond to DT calling out Maine, for still supporting trans people, in person. What you likely didn’t see was her badass statement after DT made good on his promise to investigate Maine for not complying with his illegal executive order.
I imagine that the outcome of this politically directed investigation is all but predetermined. My Administration will begin work with the Attorney General to defend the interests of Maine people in the court of law. But do not be misled: this is not just about who can compete on the athletic field, this is about whether a President can force compliance with his will, without regard for the rule of law that governs our nation. I believe he cannot.
And I can’t wait to see what wins you add in the comments!
Our voices are our superpower, but only when we use them!
