I know people like to say elections will never happen again, but they are, RIGHT NOW.
And it’s so important to remember that this whole mess started at state level. Republicans came in and took over slowly, and before we knew it, they had complete control of a handful of states and started getting rid of their democracy. So if we want to reverse what they’ve done, it starts with the school boards, and city councils and state legislatures. It starts at state level. And it starts with voting in every single election.
Your next one might just be this coming week.
This week there are races in CA, CT, IA, IL, KS, and ME so let’s get voting!
Tues Feb 25
California
State Senate District 36 Jungle Primary
This means all candidates run together and the top two go to the general. This is a pretty red district, so, it’s not a given that a Dem gets to the general.
