These are the weeks I created this guide for, truly. The weeks that no one thinks there are elections in at all, where no one is paying attention. When I say “Election day is every Tuesday” I mean it. There are only three elections this week, but just because there are less, doesn’t mean they matter less.
In San Diego, CA, we’re looking at a Board of Supervisors race, a MAGA win would flip the board and that would affect things like ICE cooperation, for instance. In Missouri there’s a St Louis special election for Ward 8 alderman. DT saying he’s going to start terrorizing blue cities, he did not specify in blue states. We need a strong Alderman in Ward 8. And then South Carolina has municipal elections in three towns, and that could change EVERYTHING for those towns.
So now that you know the general gist of the races, here are the specifics. If you are able to vote in any of these elections, I hope this helps you feel more confident doing so!
And I can’t forget to thank my incredible volunteers this week: Nancy and Michelle RF Masters
