Is this helpful? I just want to know if people are getting something out of these guides. Even if it’s just one person, that’s worth it, but I don’t get a lot of feedback on these so I’m not sure.
Anyway, this week is the start something new. I am working directly with Blue Voter Guide. They do so much incredible that I don’t want to step on their toes or just redo what they’ve already done, so, if they’ve already covered the election, I’m going to direct you there, and I’ll give details about the ones they aren’t covering. That way we’re supporting each other as much as possible.
So, if I say BVG next to a race, that means they’ve got it covered. All you have to do is put your address into their search function, and you should be good to go.
This week there are elections Monday in CA and MA, Tuesday in CA, DE, FL, MA, MI, NE, NH, OH, TN and WY, Thursday in MA and Saturday in DE and MA. New England, man.

Hopefully you know by now that LA has neighborhood council races and they are, without a doubt, one of the least publicized races in the country. Making turnout way less than 1%. These races are special, you can vote as young as 16, and you have to live there OR have a stake in the neighborhood. This means the eligible voting population for any given one of these is probably around 50k-100k, turnout is typically maybe 300. And besides not being well promoted, they also don’t use the same system as the other elections, so you have to reregister every time. MONDAY IS THE LAST DAY TO REGISTER FOR THE NEIGHBORHOODS

If you used the guide, either to send an election to a friend or for yourself, comment 🗳️
Your vote is your voice and that voice is your superpower!
I find these very helpful as well. I learn a lot about local elections and was able to share with friends who live in the area. It also reminds me that there is much work for me to do in my own local community and elections. Thank you for all the work. I know this is an enormous undertaking.
Yes yes yes they are so helpful! I'm from MA and share your link on a private account I manage with people from New England. Thank you so much for all you do!
