I’m so sorry I’m getting this out so late. I really need more volunteers to help out, so if you are good a sleuthing the internet to find out things and wanna do deep dives into hyper local elections, please send me an email or a DM!
On Monday there is a ballot request deadline in CA and many town elections in MA. On Tuesday there are elections in DE, FL, IA, MA, MN, NE, NJ, OK and TN. On Wed there’s TN, Thurs has MA and Sat is MA and TN. So this week it’s more like “Election Day is Every Day.”
As always, please remember that there is no national database, so I promise you, I will miss elections. Please check with your county and town board of election websites to see if I missed yours. And I’m now working with Blue Voter Guide, so when they have the info, I’m just going to direct you there. This will hopefully make my job at least a little easier.
Here’s what’s going on this week!

Hopefully you know by now that LA has neighborhood council races and they are, without a doubt, one of the least publicized races in the country. Making turnout way less than 1%. These races are special, you can vote as young as 16, and you have to live there OR have a stake in the neighborhood. This means the eligible voting population for any given one of these is probably around 50k-100k, turnout is typically maybe 300. And besides not being well promoted, they also don’t use the same system as the other elections, so you have to reregister every time. MONDAY IS THE LAST DAY TO REGISTER FOR THE NEIGHBORHOODS
