With incredible Research from: Michelle Masters, Richard, Bee_thechange, and
It’s that time again, ELECTION DAY!!!
Honestly, I sometimes wonder how many days in a year are election days, it’s probably at least a third, I’d think.
This week we have elections in 14 states! Luckily it’s not as widespread as last week, so this should be at least a bit more complete.
We have elections in: CA, DE, MA, CO, FL, KS, MN, MO, NE, NH, SC, SD and TN and they span from Monday till Saturday, so it’s a busy week.
As always, no matter how complete I am, I’ll never be able to catch every single race without a comprehensive data base, which we don’t have yet, so, in addition to this guide please check Blue Voter Guide as well as your county board of election website. Just cause I don’t have your district listed, that doesn’t mean you don’t have races.
Without further ado, let’s get started.
Monday April 7
California
Los Angeles
Neighborhood council region 5
Central Hollywood
East Hollywood
Greater Wilshire (Streets for All endorsed Tony Gittleson x)
Hollywood Hills West (Streets for All endorsed Graham Rossmore)
Hollywood Studio District
Hollywood United
Mid City West
P.I.C.O.
If you’ve been reading the election guide every week, you know where this is going. Monday is the last day to register to vote in the neighborhood council elections that get a turnout of maybe 1%. The rules are different than other local elections. You can vote as young as 16 and you just have to be a resident or work in the district, and still the turnout is 1%. Just cause you’re registered for other elections does not mean you are for this one, blame LA city for that decision. You register here. You can mail in your ballot, but I wouldn’t. I’d turn it into one of the listed drop boxes.

I think this town is small enough that if you live there, you know these people, so they don’t have to have a website or social media, and you probably know this election is happening, but, on the off chance you don’t, that’s the info.
