Election day is every Tuesday, or Saturday, or sometimes Thursday. Rarely Monday, Wednesday or Friday, I wonder why. No really, it’s not rhetorical, I genuinely have no idea.
Some weeks there’s just a special election or two, but some weeks there’s a hell of a lot more, and I want to do my best to make sure you don’t miss a single one.
Keep in mind, I still might miss a couple, so if you don’t see your district here, no matter what state you are in, go to your Secretary of State or your county election board websites and just double-check for yourself, and feel free to let me know, so I can add anything I might have missed!
This guide will contain links so you can learn more info. Unfortunately, most of these races are nonpartisan and in many cases it’s near impossible to find more than just a couple articles if you live outside of the district.
My best suggestion is to find your nearest Democratic party and ask them for help determining how to vote if you get stuck. Blue Voter Guide is another great resource, but they focus on endorsements and if they can’t find any, they won’t be of much help.
That said, all we can do is our best, so here I am, hoping to help you do your best so you don’t miss a single election!
There are elections in 50 counties in OK alone. But there are also more than a dozen in WA, and some others in KS, DE, MN, LA, GA, NE and NY as well.
For the record, even if there isn’t much info, it’s pretty safe to vote YES on any bond or sales tax proposal. They help pay for things like updating schools and other public buildings, now that DT is in charge, we are starting to get a pretty clear idea as to how important these elections really are.
And finally, DON’T READ THE WHOLE POST! Find the info for your state and your county and read up on those elections.
