It’s Saturday, which means it’s all you. Who are your favorite Dems fighting in Congress and Senate today?
I can’t wait to see what you find!
Ariella Elm is a reader-supported publication. Please consider getting a paid subscription buying my Your Vote is Your Voice merch, or buying me a coffee! I can only do this with support from viewers like you (I’ve always wanted to say that, I hope PBS doesn’t have it copywritten…)
I received this link in an email from one of my Senators, Lisa Blunt Rochester. I do not have an X account. I copied this from the email:
“ Senator Ben Ray Luján from New Mexico joined me in introducing legislation to protect vaccine science and integrity. Our bill is a response to Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.’s unprecedented decision to terminate all the members of the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) without cause.
The Validating and Advancing Clinical Consensus through Independent Nonpartisan Evaluation (VACCINE) Act would prevent the baseless termination of ACIP members in the future and direct the immediate reappointment of members on the advisory committee who were recently fired. This would be a critical step toward repairing the chaos and confusion Secretary Kennedy has caused in America’s public health system.
I joined MSNBC’s Morning Joe to discuss the VACCINE Act. I talked about how it’s far past time for my Republican colleagues to stand up on behalf of the American people. You can watch a clip from my appearance on the show here”
Not sure which day this happened on, guessing earlier this week. But, Senator Baldwin called out the attacks on the NIH. https://www.facebook.com/share/v/1YDJU7HrAe/?mibextid=wwXIfr
