I am EXHAUSTED I had three meetings today and then I went to the Paul McCartney photography exhibit, which was exactly what I needed.
But I am so ready for my day off tomorrow. Are you ready to take over?
Here are today’s fighters!
Repping the Rep Kevin Mullin (CA-15)
Visited Sutro Tower, where most Bay Area stations are broadcast from, and KQED offices, where he learned the importance of NPR when it comes to disaster preparedness.
DNC ( )
Put out today’s Daily Blueprint, and, as always, I learned so much.
Here’s the stories they highlighted that I wasn’t aware of:
Back on May 2, Republican Rep Mike Lawler sounded the alarm about getting rid of the LGBTQ+ 988 suicide hotline service, and today he called it out again.
House Judiciary Dems have released the results of their investigation into the cost of DT’s pardons.
Federal Reserve Chair, Jerome Powell, admitted that the tariffs tax us, not a foreign country, in a press conference after the Fed announced that interest rates have kept steady.
The Joint Economic Committee Dems released a new report detailing how much a combination of DT’s import taxes and the betrayal budget bill will cost the average middle-class worker.
The Rapid Response, Task Force and Litigation Working Group has filed an amicus brief against the administration, cutting NIH grants.
Hannah interviewed our Virginia Leutenant Governor candidate, Ghazala Hashmi you can support her campaign here.
The DNC people’s cabinet was on the rural impact podcast. I know people think that the peoples cabinet hasn’t been doing anything but they have I mean Martin O’Malley, People’s Cabinet Social Security Secretary, is EVERYWHERE
I hope more than anything that the Daily Blueprint starts to gain traction. I think it’s one of the best things the DNC is doing right now.
Rep Alma Adams (NC-12)
Has today’s Democratic Daily Download as I hope you know by now this week has been “Save Our Hospitals Week” and this post it’s about rural hospitals and how cutting Medicaid would destroy them irreparably.

Rep Dave Min (CA-47)
Has been getting a lot of flack for his vote on H. Res. 488, a resolution that condemns the antisemitic terrorism that took place in Boulder with a GOP-added sentence that praises ICE.
He could’ve just ignored this, but instead, he explained his thought process and chose to be transparent. I don’t love how he voted, but as a Jew, I do understand why he chose the way he did.
Our ire for this needs to be squarely on the GOP.
Rep Sarah Elfreth (MD-03)
Spoke about the cutting of the LGBTQ youth section of the 988 hotline on the house floor. She said:
The Trevor project estimates that at least one LGBTQ youth attempt suicide every 45 seconds. That’s less time than my remarks will take today.
That quote should be everywhere.

Rep Pat Ryan (NY-18)
Joined Kingston, New York for their first ever Pride March at the beginning of the month, but he just posted about it on Wednesday.
He was also back at the LGBTQ center in Kingston on Wednesday for a press conference pushing for the passage of the Equality Act.

Rep Bill Foster (IL-11)
Reminds us that our scientific achievements wouldn’t exist without immigrants. I think this is a reminder a lot of people need to hear. I mean hell Albert Einstein was an immigrant, and that’s a name. Everyone knows regardless of if they care about science or not.

And finally…
Sen Tammy Baldwin (WI)
Sounds the alarm about the Betrayal Budget Bill using an old school PSA. I love the creativity, and it definitely caught my attention. She also hosted a roundtable a week ago at The River Food Pantry to discuss how they and other food banks will be impacted if SNAP is cut.
I hope you learned something, and I can’t wait to see what fighters you share tomorrow!
If you made it to the end of this pos,t comment 🗼(tower) cause we have to save NPR and PBS!
And if you watched or read any of the stories, comment with what you learned and ☢️ (nuclear), cause we can’t forget that American science innovations would not exist without immigrants!
Our voices are our superpower, but only when we use them!
