Was on CNN discussing his “Weather Workforce Improvement Act” which I posted about yesterday. He explains the importance of the national weather service and he knows better than anyone because he is the only meteorologist in Congress.
Rep Rick Larsen (WA-02)
Has today’s Democratic Daily Download. He spoke about the potential cuts to Medicaid and specifically how many of his constituents are on Medicaid going county by county in his district.
I do hope at some point this week DT taking control of the California National Guard is a download, but we also can’t stop talking about that horrific bill.

Asked Rep Ayanna Pressley (MA-07) is ICE raiding neighborhoods for no reason legal? This interview happened last week, when the biggest ICE concern was in Massachusetts. Oh how quickly things change. Even though it is still a massive concern in MA. Of course the answer is no this shit is not legal.

Reps Adriano Espillat (NY-13) and Nydia Velasquez (NY-07)
Attempted to conduct an unannounced oversight visit at the federal Plaza ICE facility in New York. You know how this story ends by now, they were denied entry. And following this BS, they held a press conference outside. I am so proud of our Dems for continuing to show up anyway.

Rep Jimmy Gomez (CA-34)
Was at the roybal ICE facility in DTLA with Reps Luz Rivas (CA-29), Lou Correa (CA-46) and Norma Torres (CA-35) on Saturday. Today he went back alone and he was denied entry again. I can tell you this without a shadow of a doubt, he will be back.
I also wanna remind you if there are votes that he’s missed this is what he was doing.

Have heard you and are listening. Today they started their DAILY news briefing, The Blue Print. It is an old school news report hosted by Hannah Muldavin and it breaks down everything that happened the day before.
Is it perfect, no, of course, not. It literally started today. but I could not be more excited. And until it catches on, yes it will be linked in every single episode of this series.
