I can’t believe I’ve been doing this series for 100 days. Thank you so much to all my amazing supporters and fans who have been following the series. I’m so glad it’s made the kind of difference it has and here’s to that continuing for the next hundred days.
And if you want to support me further, you can find all that information right here
Here are some of today’s fighters!
Repping the Rep: Julia Brownley
is always really good about acknowledging all the important holidays for raising awareness and appreciation. Today is Teachers Appreciation Day and she posted all about it on her socials.
Rep Gwen Moore (WI-04)
Met with advocates from the National Breast Cancer Association to discuss the attempted dismantling of Medicaid. I love this a lot because we always see photos outside the offices from these meetings, but we never get to hear what happens in them. Today we do.
And if you can’t watch the whole video, at least hear the first story. She’s a nurse at a nursing home, and he explains what will happen to her place of work if Medicaid is decimated. And I bet you, most Republicans aren’t considering that. I mean, if their parent is in a nursing home, I doubt they would rather take them in themselves.

Rep Johnny O (MD-02)
Has today’s Democratic Daily Download. And he is the perfect person to talk about the Republican budget plan.

Every single day he posts a tracker of how many days it’s been since the congressional session started, since, they all got elected on lowering costs.
Sen Ron Wyden (OR)
Has led the Senate Finance Committee in investigating Credit Suisse’s scheme that helped the ultra-wealthy evade taxes for years. And yesterday that investigation led to a massive settlement.
Rep Greg Landsman (OH-01)
Posted a fantastic video explaining how the Energy and Commerce Committee is where most of the healthcare cuts are going to happen. If you’ve been confused about what happens to the budget bill now, I highly recommend checking out this video.

Reps Leader Hakeem Jeffries (NY-08), Whip Katherine Clark (MA-05), Ag Committee Ranking Member Angie Craig (MN-02), Budget Ranking Member Brendan Boyle (PA-02), and Energy and Commerce Ranking Member Frank Pallone (NJ-06)
held one of many democratic pressers that happened today. There was about Social Security and SNAP.
And if you can’t watch the whole video, at least watch Clark call out Republicans.

And speaking of…
Rep Clark (MA-05)
Yesterday she posted a great video about how Republicans have canceled their hearings about their budget bill and it’s all because of us. they know how incredibly unpopular it is because we keep raising our voices.

And finally…
Sen Adam Schiff (CA)
Explains the conversation around Alcatraz should not surround the prison system, rather the national parks, of which it is one of the most lucrative. No wonder DT wants to make it a prison again. I would’ve never thought of this angle without watching this video.

So there are just a small handful of today’s fighters.
If you made it to the end of this post comment with 👵 ( senior citizen) because we need to talk about what losing Medicaid will do to all nursing homes.
And if you watched or read at least one of the links comment 🏕️ (tent) cause it’s not a bad thing to talk about Alcatraz, but we need to be talking about it for the right reasons.
Our voices are our superpower, but only when we use them!
