Here’s what makes me excited today: 4/7 of today’s stories are about Dems I have amplified specifically in the Repping the Rep section of this series.
That means they’re putting more of a focus on social media and that is everything I hoped for!

Posted about the horrific SCOTUS ruling today that is letting TN’s ban on healthcare for trans youth stand. Another reminder that our Dems do care about trans lives. Here is what the Congressional Equality Caucus had to say about the ruling, which he references in the post.
Rep John Garamendi (CA-08)
Called out his Republican, California colleagues, Kevin Kylie (CA-06), and David Valadao (CA-22) for voting for the awful Budget Betrayal Bill, and breaks down exactly how many people in their districts will be affected.
If you live in their districts, your reps dont’ care about you, but Garamendi does.

Lucy McBath has been posting videos with various colleagues about gun violence in honor of Gun Violence Awareness Month. This is her and Rep Joyce Beatty, but there are so many videos.
16 Democratic State Attorneys General filed a lawsuit against the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives which reversed their previous standing prohibiting Forced Reset Triggers (a thing that makes it faster to shoot a semi automatic), cause, of course they did.

Went to conduct an oversight visit at the Broadview ICE center. Garcia explained all about the congressional ID that should automatically get them into the facility, but of course, they were denied.
And those are just a minuscule handful of today’s fighters.
