Reps Sam Liccardo (CA-16), Jared Huffman (CA-02)
held a joint empty chair town hall in Kevin Kylie’s CA-03 district. There were over 400 of his constituents present. For an extremely Red area not a bad turnout.
Rep Rick Larsen (WA-02)
Posted a new episode of “Recap with Rick.” I too wish there was a bit more transparency when it came to what our elected officials were doing throughout the week, that said, videos like this that several Democrats put out weekly kind of do that, and we need to be amplifying them more.
In this episode he discusses plans for the World Cup next year, which will be in his district, A railroad funding hearing that took place this past week, and he sponsored “The FEMA Act of 2025” which would make FEMA part of the cabinet again which would, among other things, give it it’s own Inspectors General department. I would have known about any of these three things without this video. Which is why it’s important to watch these. We don’t necessarily know everything our reps did in the course of a week. Sadly, most of it doesn’t get much, if any, traction.

Went to Logan Airport to greet Rümeysa Öztürk when she arrived back in Boston.

posted a fantastic video explaining how DT’s tax scam will destroy him a second time. The key is we need to help make it destroy him faster. Whitehouse has a lot of great language we should use to make it happen

Rep Eric Swalwell (CA-14)
Held a town hall two days ago and he posted a clip welcoming the Republicans who were there and even showed one of them who asked a question. It’s easy to think that they are all still DT supporters, but a lot of them are seeing the light and as they do, we need to welcome them in

Sen Cory Booker (NJ)
Spoke to a gathering of The Little Lobbyists who are a great reminder that it doesn’t help any of us to be anti-lobbyist as a general concept. And when he posted the video, he posted it with the sign language interpreter just as big on the screen as him. This is so incredibly important for accessibility and I want to see it from everyone all the time.
