Please remember in this series I post those who are doing the work in that moment. Because, the best way we get our Dems to do more of the right thing is by praising and acknowledging them every time they do, regardless of previous or future actions. It also makes criticisms hold more weight.

Congressional Black Caucus, Democratic Women’s Caucus and Progressive Caucus
Held a joint press conference in support of Rep McIver. There were speeches by Congressional Black Caucus Chair Rep Yvette Clarke (NY-09) Dem Women’s Caucus Chair Teresa Leger Fernandez (NM-03), Progressive Caucus Chair, Greg Casar (TX-35), NJ Senator Cory Booker, and Dean of the NJ Delegation, Frank Pallone (NJ-06).
I highly recommend you listen to at least some of them.
Rep Jim McGovern (MA-02)
Has today’s Democratic Daily Download and it is of course about the 1 AM Rules Committee vote on the Big Ugly Budget Bill. He is the ranking member on the rules committee. And he is MAD.

Reps Kim Schrier (WA-08) and Shontel Brown (OH-11)
Joined Congressional Dem Caucus Chair Rep Pete Aguilar (CA-33) and Vice Chair, Rep Ted Lieu (CA-36) for this week’s House Dem Caucus Press Conference. It is all about the big ugly bill with Rep Dr. Schrier discussing the cuts to Medicaid and Rep Brown discussing the cuts to SNAP. And of course they also discuss Rep McIver’s charges at length as well.
Rep Lieu’s speech is also very much worth a listen.

Has a new series called “MythBusters.” In this episode, she pulled Reps Becca Balint (VT) and Melanie Stansbury (AZ-03) out of the Budget Committee meeting yesterday, to discuss the lies Republicans are trying to tell about the big ugly bill.
She’s posted a lot of these in the last couple days, and you want to make sure to watch every single one.

DNC Vice Chair (will 100% be elected again) Malcolm Kenyatta
(who will be vice chair of the DNC again soon) went on Fox News to discuss the Democratic Party message with the people who need to hear it most.

Sen Chris Van Hollen (MD)
Questioned Rubio in the committee on foreign relations hearing today. He told him directly to his face that he thought they used to share the value of democracy and protecting the world, and that he regrets voting to confirm him.
