Even on Father’s Day and the day after one of the most successful protest days in US history, we still have fighters letting us know what they’re up to.
So here are some of my favorites today. Comment below with yours!
Repping the Rep Kevin Mullin (CA-15)
Is in his second term representing California 15. He is best known for secretly coming to the capital while on medical leave to vote no on the CR. I can’t wait to get to know him better throughout the week!
Yesterday he spoke at his local No Kings event about our job in protecting democracy.

Rep Dina Titus (NV-01)
Posted about Dreamers and how they are integral to the fabric of America on this, the 13th anniversary of DACA.

Rep Debbie Dingell (MI-06)
Called out Michigan State Rep Jamie Thompson on BlueSky for her absolutely despicable response to MN House Speaker, Melissa Hortman’s assassination.
We have to hold these evil Republicans responsible for their words and actions.
Reps Gabe Amo (RI-01) and Emilia Sykes (OH-13)
Lead 64 of their Dem House colleagues in a letter to Laura Grimm, the Acting NOAA Administrator demanding the Billion Dollar Weather and Climate Disasters Report be reinstated.
Thanks to the Billion Dollar Weather and Climate Disasters report, we know that the extreme flooding that rocked Rhode Island in December 2023 was part of a forceful East Coast storm that caused $1.3 billion in damage from Florida to Maine and took 5 lives.
If nothing else, if this letter doesn’t get the report reinstated, every letter is a paper trail. And those paper trails will make it a lot easier to start real oversight investigations when Hakeem Jeffries (NY-08) is sworn in as Speaker on Jan 3, 2027.

DNC Vice Chair Malcolm Kenyatta
Is officially keeping his seat as Vice Chair at the DNC thanks to David Hogg, dropping out. And he’s already back to work. He spent the last few days in Mississippi because as Chair Ken Martin says, “we have to organize everywhere so we can win anywhere” and the South isn’t an afterthought with the DNC.

And finally…
Sen Ed Markey (MA)
Spoke at Boston’s “No Kings Yaaas Queens” No Kings Day protest/ Pride parade, estimates say 1m people were at the event. And during his short speech, he said everyone belongs not just the people DT deems welcome.

So those are some of today’s fighters!
Comment with 🌊 (flood) because hopefully it’s another reminder that the letters do matter.
And if you watched or read any of the posts comment with 🏃🏾(Black man running) because that’s what Malcolm was doing in the video and I could not be more excited about the DNC in the Deep South.
Our voices are our superpower, but only when we use them!
🌊🏃♂️ My android can't seem to find the Black man running. 🤦♀️
