Hope you had a wonderful Saturday! You all found so many amazing stories. I hope you read through the comment section and got a boost from seeing all the fighters!
Here are some from today!
Repping the Rep Jill Tokuda (HI-02)
Met with members of Hawai’ian Government Employee Association, IATSE, IBEW and other Hawai’ian unions to discuss DT’s attempts to take away unions jobs and workers rights

(DNC)
Have a new substack out it is three things you personally can do this weekend, yes I know I’m posting this late on Sunday, to fight back.
If you’re not following “The Blue Print” I think you should consider doing so.
(Who are going to remember they have an account) also posted a new Substack. This is a breakdown of the new inflation numbers and why economists are not celebrating.
More financial information that I didn’t fully understand but after reading their breakdown, I understand a lot better.
Rep Eric Sorenson (IL-17)
Posted a very sweet pride message.
I’m going to try to have at least one queer Member Of Congress highlighted every day of this month. (yes I should’ve started this earlier with other months, but I didn’t think of it until today.)
Rep Glenn Ivey (MD-04)
Posted a new segment with a bit more info about his visit to El Salvador, including who he met with while there, for instance, we now know that the room with all women were women whose husbands and sons are in the prison.
Horrific, absolutely horrific.
And below is the press conference from when he was there. I didn’t see this till today, but I wanted to make sure I shared it even though it’s from some days ago.

Sen Richard Blumenthal (CT)
Was in Kyiv with Lindsey Graham talking with Zelenskyy about how the US can support Ukraine when the president doesn’t want us to among other things. I didn’t know he was in Kyiv so you probably didn’t either.
You can watch their press conference below.

And finally…
(Sen Adam Schiff [CA])
Is the first Senator to participate in the AIDS/Lifecycle ride. It’s a seven day bike ride to fundraise for San Francisco AIDS Foundation and Los Angeles LGBT Center. This is very much walking the walk, (or biking the bike 😂)

And those are just some of today’s fighters!
If you made it to the end of this post comment with 🚴🏻♂️(biker) let’s get more California Dems to participate in the ride next year
And if you watched or read any of the stories comment with 🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️ cause it’s the first day of pride month, happy pride, let’s fight like hell.
Our voices are our superpower, but only when we use them!
