It’s very very late and I’m very very sorry but I now know I cannot make a doctors appointment for 1:50 because I will not be seen for at least an hour.
Anyway, here are some absolutely incredible fighters.
Repping the Rep: Ami Bera (CA-06)
Posted a video from his meeting with Sacramento Planned Parenthood. And he has a really smart take: let’s talk about the men that get healthcare through Planned Parenthood. Because, they do, and a lot of people definitely don’t know that.

Rep Val Hoyle (OR-04)
Just wrapped up a Wildfire Safety webinar with Oregon State Fire Marshal, Mariana Ruiz-Temple. This is always great, but especially when it’s clear that the federal government could not care less.
You can watch the full webinar below!

Today’s
DNC ( )
Daily Blueprint focused heavily on tariffs and DINOS (deals in name only). I definitely like this use of that acronym better than the other one.
So, if you have any questions about the import, tax fiasco, definitely a good video to watch.
(VA-08)
And (VA-10) spoke at the Science Committee Dems “The Things We’ll Never Know: A Science Fair of Canceled Grants” in Rayburn Building Foyer. This is one of the most creative things I have seen from our Democrats to date. I’ve seen many people comment this, and I agree, they should make this into a cross-country tour.
You can watch little clips of Reps Beyers and Subramanyam’s speeches below.

Rep Laura Friedman (CA-30)
Has today’s Democratic Daily Download. It is, of course, continuing the unified message against the Big Ugly Law, but I think it is one of the most effective because of her use of graphics.

Rep Kathy Castor (FL-14)
Wrote a letter to Pam Bondi demanding that Assistant U.S. Attorney Michael Gordon be immediately reinstated after she abruptly removed him. He was currently working on prosecuting Leo Giovanni, who was accused of stealing funds that helped disabled individuals and their families.
She explained it in a video as well.

And finally…
Sen (GA)
Asked a couple of questions during A Future Without Type 1 Diabetes: Accelerating Breakthroughs and Creating Hope a Senate appropriations hearing. He said:
And I will fight this effort to destroy the CDC with everything I have as a member of the united States senate, and if we, on a bipartisan basis in the senate do not defeat this effort to gut the CDC, the american people will pay for it in lives, in suffering for decades to come.
Powerful stuff.
It’s wild that this was a regular hearing. I mean it’s not like Republicans could care less about any research, let alone Diabetes research.
And you can watch the whole hearing at the link above.

So those are just a small handful of today’s fighters!
If you made it to the end of this post, comment 🔬(microscope) because I hope you are as impressed with the Dems on the House Science Committee as I am.
And if you watched or read any of these stories, comment with 🦕 (a dinosaur) because Hannah‘s right, these are Deals In Name Only.
Our voices are our superpower, but only when we use them!
