has spent today, and many days of this in district work., Speaking directly to staff at various hospitals around her district. Today the second congressional democratic Medicaid Day of Action, so she’s not the only one.
Reps Emily Randall (WA-06) and Nanette Barragán (CA-44)
Have yesterday’s WTFShow. For those who still don’t know, this is a House Democratic new media press conference that happens Wed, Thurs and Fri. They spoke about Medicaid in conjunction with today’s Medicaid Day of Action. It’s not just about how the cuts will effect their constituents, but they also explain how important consistent stories are for the fight, and Emily talks about how the cuts to Medicaid will personally effect her and her immediate family.
I feel like a lot of people think they can’t possibly effect members of congress, but that would be disinformation to make congress seem elite, the fact is, most of them aren’t.

Has today’s Democratic Daily Download, another new media press conference, this one happens every weekday. She is the first pediatrician in Congress, so she is the perfect person to explain what will happen if Medicaid is cut.
But as I said at the beginning today is Medicaid day of action, so your representative and your senators if they are, Democrats have almost certainly said something on social media today. So take a second to go find their posts and add it into 👇 thread

Are answering the call for the desperate attention needed on North Carolina right now. Rep Maxwell Frost (FL-10) and Sen Chris Murphy (CT) will join NC Dem Party Chair Anderson Clayton on April 24 in Richard Hudson’s NC-09 district because he’s a feckless Republican and because Justice Allison Riggs did win the Supreme Court race fair and square and she WILL stay in her position on the court cause we won’t let anything else stand.

Went on CNN and explained that for her the abductions aren’t just a moral failure, but their personal. Her family Iran. I have seen a lot of people leave her out of the discussion of people who are talking about going to El Salvador I hope that listening to her talk about her experience will end her exclusion from these lists
