I’m exhausted and don’t have a pithy intro today. I hope the post can speak for itself.
Rep Greg Stanton (AZ-04)
Was on KTAR News’ The AZ Political Podcast a couple days ago. It’s a pretty centrist podcast. They have Republican guests like Meghan McCain and Democrats like Greg. So this is not speaking to the choir, at all.
We need as much of this as possible! The only way things change is if Republican electeds feel like their own constituents will primary them. Then it doesn’t matter that DT is threatening the same thing. And he’s not the only one in this post that did that, but we’ll get there in a bit.

Rep Eugene Vindman (VA-07)
Posted this incredible video calling the hotline to report waste fraud and abuse in the federal government. He called to report the fact that EM is using federal funds to pay for his cybertrucks. I would like every elected to do exactly this.
Unfortunately, this doesn’t seem to be getting a whole lot of attention. The more attention it gets, the more impactful it becomes.

Rep Herb Conway (NJ-03)
Attended and spoke at a Protest at Tesla with around 300 people in attendance. It wasn’t a rally with speakers, he just took the bullhorn and helped motivate the crowd!
Rep Hillary Scholten (MI-03)
Attended and spoke at a Stand With Ukraine, rally in Western Michigan, like with Conaway it doesn’t look like this rally had speakers, just motivators.
Rep Jake Auchincloss (MA-04)
Attended and spoke at the Stand with Ukraine rally in Boston.
On Threads he also posted a video “Americans don’t want Ukranian’s minerals, we want their freedom”
Rep Sara Jacobs (CA-50)
Spoke to International Union of Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers at their conference. Keep in mind, even though it doesn’t make sense, many labor, workers, and union members voted for DT, even if the union at large endorsed Kamala. Every time we can be in their spaces telling them what is really happening, we need to be.
Sen Cory Booker (NJ)
I am ecstatic being able to add Cory Booker to this list today. He was on Meet the Press, and, as expected, they asked him every gotcha in the book, but he handled it so so well.
He made it abundantly clear that he has no interest in working with DT on anything. He was using words like bipartisan at first, so this means his constituents made their voices heard, and he listened. He is done trying to find middle ground.

Sen Tina Smith (MN)
And finally, everyone is talking about it, but I have been in her fan club since I started this series so I can’t not mention her. The incomparable Tina Smith. has had enough and is no longer playing nice.
I don’t think I could love this more than I already do.
I hope you are inspired by all or some of these incredible Democrats working their asses off to protect and defend us.
Remember, anyone saying the Democrats are doing nothing are either intentionally or unintentionally spreading disinformation.
Our voices are our superpower, but only if we use them!
Be sure to take care of yourself, too. Thanks for all you do!
